Bob Hoskins Dead at 71
Actor Bob Hoskins has died at age 71. He became famous for roles in movies such as "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and "Mona Lisa".
His death was due to complications from pneumonia.
Hoskins was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease two years ago. That caused his retirement from the entertainment business.

We extend our sincere condolences to the family of Bob Hoskins, who has passed away from pneumonia. Mr. Hoskins retired from acting two years ago, after being diagnosed with Parkinson's. When people with Parkinson’s are having difficulties swallowing, they are at an increased risk of developing aspiration pneumonia, which occurs when food, saliva, liquids or stomach content is inhaled into the lungs.
