Chuck Berry died today at age 90. To call him a legendary figure in the history of music would be an understatement. On almost every list of Rock and Roll's greatest's, you'll find Chuck Berry. He's also received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2000, was celebrated by the Kennedy Center Honors.
Among the bands in which you can hear his influence are The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. Both recorded his songs and the quote at the top belongs to John Lennon.
Even Ted Nugent said, "If you don't know every Chuck Berry lick, you can't play rock guitar."
