Does talking about Arnold Palmer’s penis size get Donald Trump votes in Pennsylvania?

Donald Trump is obsessed with genitalia. He certainly likes to talk about it, and it doesn’t matter if it’s men’s or women’s.

We first found out about it on the Access Hollywood tape, when he told Billy Bush, “If you’re a star you can grab them by the pussy.” Crass, but at least it let us know what Donald Trump was all about.

Then there was the Republican Presidential Debate in 2016 when he started talking about dick size and goaded Marco Rubio into doing the same thing. Again crass, but we expected nothing less from him.

That brings us to last weekend when Trump held an event in Latrobe, Pennsylvania—the home of legendary golfer Arnold Palmer. Instead of praising Arnie for the length of his golf drives, he praised him for the length of his ‘driver.’

“This man was strong and tough. And I refused to say it, but when he took showers with the other pros. They came out of there, they said, ‘Oh my God. That’s unbelievable.’ I had to say it. We have women that are highly sophisticated here, but they used to look at Arnold as a man.”

Don!! What do you mean you refuse to say it? You came right out and said it!!

But, the big question about this kind of crap is does it get Trump any more votes or does it cost him votes?

I’m pretty sure it will cost him at least one vote—Peg Palmer Wears, the daughter of Arnold Palmer. Her reaction to this was, “I think it was a poor choice of approaches to remembering my father, but what are you going to do? There’s nothing much to say.”

Then she told us what her father, a man who was a staunch Republican conservative actually thought about Donald Trump:

“Like he couldn’t believe the arrogance and crudeness of this man who was the nominee of the political party that he believed in. He’s not as smart as we thought he was”

We’ve seen worse from Trump—much worse. His base just laughs it off. ‘That’s Donald’ or ‘It’s only locker room talk.’ The other side will tell you that it’s gross, disgusting and unpresidential. Then we’ll all move on to the next time. There are still two weeks until election day. For Donald Trump, that’s more than enough for there to be a next time.
