Donald Trump's administration is looking like Animal House
Yesterday I started my day by watching the Sunday political shows. I heard Steve Miller was going to be the guest on all of them. I couldn't figure out why they would have a rock/blues musician on but I was excited. Turns out it was a different Steve Miller. This guy. He's a senior adviser to the President. Turns out the only thing the two Miller's have in common is they both "Take The Money And Run".
After watching Miller yesterday, he seems diabolical, weird and creepy. He angrily answered or avoided answering every question. Of course, he lied about widespread voter fraud and when Chuck Todd pressed him on something he came back "Asked and answered, Chuck". I'm surprised he isn't at a proctologist this morning because George Stephanopoulos tore him a new one with "You have provided zero evidence".
By the time the interviews were over you had the impression that you were watching the movie Animal House. Miller reminds me of Douglas Neidermeyer. You remember Dougie...the head of the rival fraternity or as Boone called them "Nazi Youth". At the end of the movie, they said Neidermeyer was killed by his own troops in Vietnam. I could see that happening with Miller...easily. It was almost as if the dialogue from the movie occurred yesterday.... Miller: How does it feel to be an independent, Stephanopoulos? Stephanopoulos: How does it feel to be an asshole, Miller?
But Stephen Miller may not be the closest doppelganger to Neidermeyer in the Trump dysfunctional family. There's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. Remember him? He's the guy who grabbed Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields at a rally and when she complained about him, Steven Bannon and Donald Trump backed up Corey.
It's not too much of a stretch to picture Lewandowski telling to her to "Drop and give me twenty".
These guys are scary....fucking scary. You have to wonder what's next? Is one of these guys going to grab a rifle, put in a single bullet and try to shoot a reporter...all with a shit-eating grin on his face? That could be Miller, who became a conservative after reading a book written by the CEO of the NRA, Wayne LaPierre.
Sigh....all this is making wish for a normal Sunday morning with Kellyanne.
Talking about my dear friend Kellyanne, it was just two weeks ago I wrote about how she ruined my Sunday. I long for those days.
If you want to become a blog subscriber...and why wouldn't you...head to the right (not the Kellyanne right) and put your email address into that Subscribe thingy. I promise you there will be no spam and you can leave anytime you like. Really. I'm part of the media and I wouldn't lie to you, would I?
