I heard it was a supposed to be a kinder, more unifying Donald Trump

It was just last Saturday—only eight days ago. In an assassination attempt, Donald Trump was supposedly grazed in the ear by a bullet from an assault weapon. I say supposedly because the only proof we have seen is a bandage and a medical report for former White House quack doctor Ronny Jackson. I think it was a piece of glass that slightly cut his ear, but that’s not the point of this.

Word came out quickly that the experience had changed Donald Trump. He was going to try to be kinder. He wanted to unify the nation. Trump was going to be the President for everyone.

That lasted until Thursday when he was about halfway through his nominating acceptance speech. It was the same old name-calling we’ve heard for so many years. Crooked Joe, Crazy Nancy, etc, etc, etc. Nothing new, nothing unifying.

And then came today…

President Joe Biden finally announced that he was going to drop out of the race for president. Of course, Trump reacted. Let’s see what he said:

“Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for president, and is certainly not fit to serve – and never was! He only attained the position of president by lies, fake news, and not leaving his basement. All those around him, including his doctor and the media, knew that he wasn’t capable of being president, and he wasn’t. And now look what he’s done to our country, with millions of people coming across our border, totally unchecked and unvetted, many from prisons, mental institutions, and record numbers of terrorists. We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly.”

Hmmm….there’s that kindness. There’s that unity! SIGH!!

But, he wasn’t done—because he’s never done.

It looks like the Democrats are unifying behind Vice-President Kamala Harris to be their Presidential nominee. Not surprisingly, Don and his senior advisors had some words about her:

“Kamala Harris owns the entire left-wing policy record of Joe Biden. The only difference is that she is even more liberal and less competent than Joe, which is really saying something. She was put in charge of the border and we saw the worst invasion of illegals in our history!!!” Kamala Harris is just as much of a joke as Biden is. Harris will be even WORSE for the people of our Nation than Joe Biden. Harris has been the Enabler in Chief for Crooked Joe this entire time. They own each other’s records, and there is no distance between the two. Harris must defend the failed Biden Administration AND her liberal, weak-on-crime record in California”

It’s the same old same old from Donald Trump and his people. When someone shows you who they are the first time, believe them. It’s going to take more than a piece of broken glass to bring our country together.
