I miss Kellyanne Conway
Another Sunday has come and gone. Meet The Press. Face The Nation. This Week with George. Fox News Sunday with Chris. All of them had one thing in common the other day. No Kellyanne Conway.
Spokespeople for politicians tend to have a short shelf life. With our current President, it seems to be even shorter.
Remember Boris Epshteyn? His face was on every television last summer. Have you seen him lately? Nope..because he's out. He's no longer part of the #45 administration. Boris, we hardly knew ye.
Then there's Stephen Miller. He made the rounds of the Sunday news programs two months ago. Republicans praised him. Don sent out congratulatory tweets. Liberal Democrats thought he was scary. It turned out unlike his musical namesake, this Steve Miller is a one hit wonder.
And what about Kellyanne Conway? Oh where, oh where has she gone? For almost two years, we saw her on a daily basis. Usually more than once. Every. Single. DAY!! Now, she's nowhere to be found.
The last time I can remember seeing Kellyanne was in the above picture. The poor girl has been reduced to kneeling on a couch, taking photos. Man, it's a long fall from the top.
I know she's been banned from CNN and also Morning Joe, but what about all the other political shows? Even the weekend cable shows aren't having her anymore. What about Joy Reid on MSNBC and that crazy Judge Jeanine on Fox? You guys can't use the ratings help to get you to prime time? Kellyanne would bring you ratings because you never know what kind of crap is going to come out her mouth. It's a win/win/win! The networks, Kellyanne and the viewers all come out ahead.
Really, what could go wrong? Remember the good old days of alternative facts, Bowling Green massacres and spying microwave ovens? I miss that shit. That was some good television.
So how can we get Kellyanne back in our lives? First we need to find her. I hear she's still part of the Trump administration but who really knows? Has anyone actually seen her? Now that we know that Richard Simmons is alive, Dan Taberski has some time on his hands. How does a "Missing Kellyanne Conway" podcast sound?
We need Kellyanne back. She's been replaced by people like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. What kind of entertainment is that? Sigh. Sarah, I knew Kellyanne Conway. Kellyanne is a friend of mine. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, you're no Kellyanne Conway.
Here's a piece I wrote about Kellyanne in January. After this, I really want her to come back?
