Keep calm because it's the end of the year
It's that time of the year. Happy Festivus!!! Got any grievances you want to air?
Happy Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and in two days...MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!. And no, I'm not starting a war on Christmas by placing them last. If you really think that, get over yourselves, people. I'm just giving the less popular holidays their due. Whatever you celebrate, Happy Holidays, everyone!
There's only eight days left to 2019. It's that time to get ready to move into a new year and a new decade. Whenever December hits the calendar, I take some time to do some self evaluation about my blog. Do I want to continue for another year or is it time to move on to something new and different? There have been a couple of times where I've almost said enough. Now, at the close of seven years and more than a thousand posts, you might think this is it?
NOPE! Uh uh! Not close!
How could I quit when it's an election year? I mean, if you thought impeachment was wild, we haven't seen anything yet! The things that come out of Trump's mouth in the next year are going to be incredible. If you thought the last three years were something, we haven't seen anything close to what is going to occur in 2020. It's going to cray-cray, kids!!! How could I miss writing about this?
So folks, I'm not going anywhere. I do have an end date in mind, but not yet. You're stuck with me for the next year. I promise it's going to be good.
That's it for 2019 around here. I'm heading to a remote location without a computer, so I'm closing it down for the year. Seriously, have a great holiday, a very happy New Year and we'll see you early in 2020. Thanks and be safe out there.
