Melanoma: Not An Ordinary Skin Cancer
My friend and fellow blogger Donna Moncivaiz died last Friday. Melanoma.
She was also one of my mentors with great advice and compassion when I was diagnosed with Melanoma last Spring.
Donna's funeral and the celebration of her life will be this afternoon...on what would be her 54th birthday. Dying at 53 should be a sign that you need to take this upcoming warning seriously....
As Donna would tell you..... 1. Use sunscreen...the higher the rating the better. 2. Wear a hat 3. Wear sunglasses 4. Keep out of tanning beds 5. Check you body for new and suspicious moles regularly
RIP Donna...you're sorely missed.

This is the piece I wrote about Donna earlier this week. Plus one more about Cancer
