On the 50th anniversary of the first men on the moon: Songs about the moon
It's July 20, 1969. The time is 9:56 central. Neil Armstrong is taking the first steps on the moon that any human has taken. With the entire world watching, he says these magical words:
“That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
At the time this is being published, it will be exactly fifty years since Armstrong took those first steps. The celebration of this anniversary has been ongoing for a few weeks. There have been numerous television shows broadcast and articles written about it. I don't have anything new or profound to add, but I can give you some entertainment.
