On the anniversary of his death, a look at the life of George Harrison
From 1964 to 1970, he was one of the four most popular musicians in the world. He didn't write or sing many of their songs, but you could hear his instrument on every single tune. He very rarely was out in front when on stage performing, but the band wouldn't have been the same without him.
George Harrison was the underrated Beatle. George Harrison was my favorite of the four Beatles.
His career took off after the band broke up for good in 1970. The album "All Things Must Pass" made his solo career legendary. He secured that standing with the concert charity event "The Concert For Bangla Desh."
