Signs from the "Nobody Is Above The Law-Protect Mueller" protest march
On Wednesday, Donald Trump fired his Attorney General Jeff Sessions. He replaced him with a Trump toady, Matthew Whitaker.
On Thursday, the people of America took to the streets in protest.
There were supposedly over 900 locations where citizens participated in the "Nobody is Above The Law/Protect Mueller" protest. In the Chicago area, there were protests in Evanston, Frankfort, Arlington Heights, Highland Park, Libertyville, as well as the one in downtown Chicago.
Among the speakers in Chicago were Senator Dick Durbin and Illinois State Senator Daniel Biss. After the rally, the protesters marched about a mile to the Trump building.
