The Final Thanksgiving column
Happy Thanksgiving!!
I’ve been writing a Thanksgiving column each year since 2012. I went back and read all of them—and man my eyes are tired. They’ve touched on more than a few different topics, including dealing with a disease, homelessness and family dysfunction, but they always come back to a main theme—GRATITUDE!
Over these years I’ve written a lot about gratitude. Sometimes it’s so close that you feel like you can reach out and touch it—that’s easy. Other times you have to dig a lot deeper to get there. Trust me, I get it—especially during the end-of-the-year holidays when it may get complicated. Gratitude is always a work in progress.
In this Thanksgiving finale, I am grateful to everyone who has read anything I’ve written here for the past decade. And even if you just clicked the link and said nope, I have better things to do with my three to five minutes, I still thank you for the click. It helps with the numbers.
So for the final time in this format, I hope all of you have a great holiday. I empathize with those of you who are struggling and wish you a peaceful day. Thanks again for everything.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
