The Stones Are Touring Again
The Rolling Stones are hitting the road again.
It's not a surprise that they're going to tour. The big surprise is a rumor that they will play their 1971 epic album Sticky Fingers in it's entirety.
If that's true, then rock and roll doesn't get any better than this!
Imagine sitting in an arena....you're anticipating one of the greatest bands in rock and roll history. The lights go down. The crowd gasps. And here comes the first two guitar chords of "Brown Sugar".
I'm not the biggest Stones fan but just thinking about this has my juices flowing.
The tour will open in San Diego in late May. Shows in Milwaukee and Indianapolis have been leaked. More dated will be announced next week.
Mick, Keith and Charlie are in their 70's. Ron Wood is 67. We've heard it before that this could be the final tour. But now it's getting close.
This really could be the last time.
If you're a Stones fan check out this gallery I did on Keith's 70th birthday. He's really still alive?
