To mask or not to mask: That is the question
The pandemic is over. Okay, it's not really over but plenty of people are acting like it is. Yes, Covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths are down. Apparently, this has given folks the impression that life is back to the way it was before March 2020. The biggest sign of this is mask mandates have come to an end. Sure, you see them in doctor's offices/hospitals, on public transportation, and in most schools, but masks are optional in the general public.
So the question of the day is a mask or no mask. The answer depends on your level of comfort.
I've been inside a few local grocery stores in the last week. It seems to be the percentage of mask wears is about fifty-fifty. It's the same thing at department stores, coffee shops and people walking inside the mall.
I'll admit I'm still a mask wearer. My comfort level isn't at one hundred percent as of yet, Until it is, I'm sticking with the mask. I'll also admit that I look at non-mask wearers and wonder what the Hell they're thinking. But, I guess everyone has the right to make their own choice about this; at least until the next Covid variant hits, which is probably coming sooner than later. Good luck getting the maskless to put their masks back on.
So to mask or not to mask? Which are you? That is the question.
