Too Bad We Didn't Know About Melanoma When We Were Sixteen
Sunday is the first day of Summer. We look forward to Summer. Warm weather. The beach. Baseball. Concerts. Outside Activities.
THE SUN!!!!!
My friend Janice posted this video about a week ago. It's aimed towards teenagers but it's great advice for everyone.
In case you blew off the video, here's some advice from someone who recently dealt with Melanoma.... 1. Use Sunscreen 2. Wear a hat 3. Keep out of tanning beds. 4. Check your body for moles every month 5. See a dermatologist regularly.
Melanoma is Cancer. If caught early, it's very curable. If not, your life expectancy is about five years. FIVE YEARS!!
Have fun this summer but be careful out there. Be very careful.
If you never thought much about Melanoma, I get it. Neither did I. I Never thought I would get Melanoma. Once you get it, it could lead to surgery
