Last night Vice-President Kamala Harris held a huge rally in Atlanta, Georgia. She brought out some of her big-gun supporters. Among them were Bruce Springsteen, Samuel L. Jackson, Spike Lee and finally Barack Obama. When the former President introduced her, Harris came out wearing a blazer and blue jeans. Very casual but also very stylish. But the reaction by some on the right was even more damning than when Obama once wore a tan suit. Here’s some of the comments on Twitter:
who the hell told Kumala that blue jeans out fit from the same price store looked good! Geeezzz!
Kamala looked disgusting. Very very disrespectful.
What is up with Kamala wearing blue jeans at her rallies lately. Is she trying to come off like a all American Country girl. Not happening KAMALA you are just a commie slut from San Francisco.
I wonder who these dudes are voting for? I also wonder what their reaction was to what Donald Trump reportedly said about the German World War 2 leader?
“Hitler did some good things. I want the kind of generals Hitler had.”
I’m sure the guys trashing the VP either said nothing or found an excuse for the Hitler-loving comments because that’s what almost every Republican has done this week.
So as we head into the final days before the election, what action do you think should be more disqualifying? Wearing blue jeans or being a Hitler supporter? We’ll find out what the country thinks on November 5th.
I really hope you're kidding.
Besides the fact that my wife and I both thought Vice President Harris looked great in jeans and a blazer, THERE IS NO EQUIVALENCY BETWEEN ONE CANDIDATE'S ATTIRE AND THE OTHER CANDIDATE'S OPEN ADORATION OF HITLER.
This not a fashion show. This is about one candidate who understands the lives of working people and has plans to make their lives better, versus one candidate who has promised that this will be the last election if he wins. He plans to ban the phrase "climate change" from all government agencies, while eliminating the Dept of Education, FDA, USDA, CDC and every agency and department meant to protect Americans. He's going to flood the government with incompetent election deniers who will pledge their loyalty to HIM, not the Constitution. He's going to go after patriotic generals who have served their country faithfully for the crime of disagreeing with him.
Seriously? Would you choose a candidate wearing sweat pants over a candidate who incited a violent attack on our nation's Capitol, tried to overturn the will of the people and tto overthrow our government? EVERY DAMN DAY OF THE WEEK!
There is no explanation for any of it. So very sad but true. We can only pray that blue jeans will prevail!!!
