Yesterday we featured five of the old-school legends of the Blues guitar. Today we look at the players who have brought the genre into the present day and the future. Buddy Guy is the figure that links the past to the current stage of Blues players. At age eighty-six he says he's on his final concert tour. His playing has influenced Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Among his accolades are The Kennedy Center Honors and a Lifetime Grammy Award.
He is amazing! Buddy Guy is legendary - as are the others though at Buddy’s age I marvel at his energy.
